Hi, I'm Esther — the hands, heart, and soul behind La Chaparra Handmade Jewelry.

Every piece I create starts with a simple belief: jewelry should mean something. It should tell a story, carry a feeling, and remind the person wearing it of something beautiful. That's why I make everything by hand, one piece at a time, right here in my studio.

How It All Started

La Chaparra  began as a memorial to my son who was taken from us in 2022, it then was born out of a love for craftsmanship and a desire to create jewelry that feels personal — not mass-produced. What began as a passion project quickly became something much bigger: a community of people who believe that the things we wear should be as unique as we are.

I work with carefully chosen materials — quality beads, delicate chains, and meaningful charms — selecting each one with intention. No two pieces are exactly alike. From the first sketch to the final clasp, every step is done by hand with care and attention to detail.
